Digital Marketing Executive

Full-time marketing role in London

We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Executive who will execute the delivery of our digital marketing strategy across all channels for Trivia Battle. The successful candidate will have a strong background in digital and has hands on experience across paid search, paid social, email marketing (CRM) and organic search.

The candidate will need to have excellent digital skills, have a solid understanding of front end development, and highly competent with data. We are looking for a motivated, positive-minded individual who can work well both independently and as a team.

The Duties

  • Executing all responsibilities relating to CRM including segmentation and automation, delivering campaigns and reporting.
  • Responsible for creating responsive HTML emails.
  • Troubleshoots technical issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation and other aspects of email execution.
  • Ensure data cleanliness and completeness leveraging tools in Salesforce and other third-party platforms.
  • Maintain our Social Media management platform. Source and schedule compelling content to distribute on social media channels. Monitor all comments on social channels.
  • Support and develop measurement and testing for all digital marketing activities, proactively taking past campaign performance learnings to inform future activity.
  • Writing and producing creative content, including videos and blog posts.
  • Ensuring all campaign activity is compliant with the Data Protection Act and GDPR, Advertising Standards Authority and Direct Marketing Association guidelines.
  • Running social media channels - e.g. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok - to enhance prospect and audience engagement.
  • Proofreading and ensuring communications are grammatically correct and free from spelling mistakes.
  • Working closely with our in-house designers to create marketing collaterals and digital assets.
  • Research and keep up to date with digital marketing techniques, trends and developments; propose clear recommendations for consideration / implementation.
  • Responsible for usability and accessibility web standards ensuring optimised customer journeys.
  • Working with SEO Analysts to pull appropriate data and metrics to support the auditing and strategy development process. Monitoring and reporting on search performance and use insights to constantly improve search visibility.
  • Stay up-to-date on SEO best practice.
  • Set up and management of PPC campaigns.
  • Campaign testing, optimisation and personalisation.
  • Implementation of bid management and implementation tracking.
  • Reporting and analysis of PPC campaigns.

Required Skills

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Team player attitude but able to work independently and manage their own time.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • HTML and CSS experience (for both email and web).
  • Previous experience working with social marketing platforms.
  • Previous experience working with email marketing platforms (Dotmailer, IBM marketing suite, Pardot).
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce).
  • Strong creative skills capable of mixing experience, creativity and insight.
  • Paid Search (PPC) experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
